| To me a wine that shows no developement is not going through a "dumb" phase, it is simply bad wine.
"The Dumb phase is when the wine is unable to convey its true character, through aromatics or palate ie; it is unable to communicate hence the term "dumb"." Quote from a seminar I attended. It makes sense but I'm not sure if this actually outlines an actual definition, or clarify's the question better?!? | | | |
