| My EuroCave has two sliding glass pieces on the front that are used in conjunction with shelves to separate a top part of the cabinet for room temperature and a bottom part for chilling. You can see the top one in the last pictureHERE.
Does anyone know if/how these can be removed? They seem to be a nuisance to me, and I'd rather not use them. | | | |

| i agree, they do get in the way. They limit how large or small you can make the different sections with the shelves.... cause you can't slide them past the shleves.
haven't tried to remove them though... i just have delt with it. i do think that thebottom one keeps the bottom compartment much colder though... | | | |

They really do eat up a lot of space. Plus, you can only fit 10-11 bottles on the 13 bottle shelves.

| I have a Eurocave also and I am having a problem that I don't think I should be having. Water is collecting on the top of metal shelf at the bottom of the cabinet just behind the wire basket pull-out. I don't have any water on the walls of the cabinet. About the only thing I can think of is that the shelf and box frame behind the wire basket separates the compressor from the cabinet and that there might be enough heat transference to create the condensation. However, I can not feel any heat on the shelf. I keep the filter changed and the cabinet is the proper distance from the wall. Unfortunately, the manual is less than useful. Any ideas?

Mine is a Transtherm (EuroCave and Transtherm are the same company) and in the summer I have the same condensation in the back on the bottom of the unit. There doesn't seem to be a solution. I actually have a rolled up towel at the very base and occasionally have to clean it out. Reminder to self: clean out the unit today. | | | |
