I've found that double decanting has much the same effect as splash decanting - and safer when you are wearing white.

LOL

reminds me of the red shirt board-o wore to the 1st vc dinner in nyc. good thing he wore it by the way

patience or prudence, who cares? send them both over

I know (I know)
You belong to somebody new
But Tonight you belong to me
Although (although) we're apart
Your part of my heart
And tonight you belong to me

Way down by the stream
How sweet it will seem
Once more just to dream
In the moonlight
My honey I know (I know)
With the dawn that you will be gone
But tonight you belong to me

Way down (way down) along the stream
How very, very sweet it will seem
Once more just to dream
In the silvery moonlight
My honey, I know (I know)
With the dawn that you will be gone
But tonight you belong to me
Just to little old me

And who could forget "Gonna Get Along WIthout Ya Now", from December of that year?

anthony, the wine came out of it completely.

"Got along without you before I met you
Gonna get along without you know."

Who sang that?

Mm-hum, mm-hum, gonna get along without you now
Mm-hum, my honey, mm-hum, my honey
Gonna get along without you now
You told me I was the neatest thing
You even asked me to wear your ring
Then you ran around with every girl in town
You never cared if it got me down
Mm-hum, mm-hum, gonna get along without you now
Mm-hum, my honey, mm-hum, my honey
Gonna get along without you now

Got along without you before I met you
Gonna get along without you now
Gonna find somebody who's twice as cute
'Cause I didn't like you anyhow
You told everybody that we were friends
But this is where our friendship ends
All of a sudden you changed your tune
You haven't been around since way last June
Mn-hum, mm-hum, gonna get along without you now
Got along without you before I met you
Gonna get along without you now
So long, my honey
Goodbye, my dear
Gonna get along without you now

They sure don't write 'em like that anymore.

Does anyone have any experience tasting the same wines with one decanted/splash decanted and the same wine pop'n'pour? Like SxS or something?

Pour and dump. That is what I use.

Purpose is to allow air into wine, and this splashing will help.
