Maybe ignornane is bliss. I can detect sulphur pretty easily. I think they use SO in some rieslings to help preserve it and it is very annoying to me. Fortunately, it blows off completely.

Eric, you thought that the 95 Staglin may have been corked (Napa dinner at Celedon). It was definitely off and lacked the fruit it should have, but I did not sense any cardboard or sulfur oders.

True enough GATC, I did - I got the typical Cardboard, wet newspaper thing, but it is a matter of degree - some are much worse than others, and IIRC that was not an overwhelming example. I just happen to be particularly sensitive to TCA
