This was a great value ($16.00) - The nose reminded me of a new world pinot and was aggressive with nice fruit on top of earthy and gamey aromas. The body was very Syrah like, rich and toasty with some smoke and hot tar. This is rich and light on both acidity and tannin for an easy drinking wine to drink while it is still young and fresh. Overall this is an excellent wine worth every penny. Catena is currently one of the best QPR producers in the world. Those who like new world Pinot and Syrah should try this as a cheap alternative. 88pts

TCK, I'm right there with you on this one. Goes great with Thai food too. Got a bottle of this from Mick and proceeded next door to the Thai restaurant with a friend... didn't take long to open up and be very enjoyable for the price.

Great TN.
