Great QPR, had this yesterday for 8€.

Color: Dark, nearly opaque, with thick slow tears.

On the nose there is a lot of liquorice, and herbs (lots of greenness, but not bad such) such as basil. Cigar and some cedar over a frame of black currant and lingonberry. Intensive.

On the palate the wine is medium-bodied, although on the fuller side. Fairly good balance, with a slightly salty feel you sometimes get from Chilean Cabs. Plenty of acidity, very little tannin even for a Chilean Cab. Not as sweet fruit as one might expect from the nose. Flavours of leather (lots), tobacco, anise, blackcurrant and herbs. Long aftertaste.

I give this wine 85 points, and for 8€ (9,40 USD) its a steal.
