Opened my last bottle of 2000 Tikal Amorio the other night and it has developed some secondary nuances that were absent in previous bottles. It still has the classic blueberry, asian spice, and thick legs, but the fruit and tannins are in true harmony. If you have any left I would consume within the next 12-18 months. This wine is at peak and will not get any better. The plummy flavor in this wine just shines through and the last glass had crystaline sediment, which was not offensive. A pleasure to drink as always and wish I had 1-2 more bottles. 91pts.
