Tasted at a mini-VC gathering last night (w/ MudPuppy). All wines for us (except MP) were double blind. This was the fourth wine (first red) tasted in the evening.

Very light ruby coloration. Muted nose of leather - untraceable fruit. The palate matched the nose here --- leather, slightly bitter cherry fruit. I incorrectly guessed this to be an Italian wine. Could this be closed? No it's just bad wine.

< 80 points and not recommended.

this wine was worse than the chard. funky nose, hot, too much acidity. what little fruit, was on the bitter side. not recommended.

...and a finish reminiscent of chewing on a ten-speed tire.

Wow, that's not very enticing...
