Tasted at a mini-VC gathering last night (w/ MudPuppy). All wines for us (except MP) were double blind. This was the second wine tasted in the evening.

Nose of dust (almost musty), moldy banana. On the palate I coaxed smoke, muted fruits. I knew this wasn't a CA chard, but couldn't guess anything else.

80 points and not recommended.

all i could add is not recommended. way too acidic.

possibly the first time I've ever smelled leather on a chard.
