Finca Flichman Paisaje Do Tupungato 2001 (Argentina)
Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet, 14%alc

On the back of the bottle it said 'made only in exceptional vintage years'.
If that's true then I'd hate to taste the bottle that would come out if they made it in non exceptional years.

This was a really bad bottle of wine!
Absolutely no nose whatsoever, and a totally disjointed palate.
Initially, it gave waves of powerful acidic red fruits that kind of exploded all around the mouth but without consistancy. Nice legs, but no aroma to speak of.
After about a half hour the fruits disappeared and left dull red table wine. I struggled to get through a half glass of the stuff before throwing it down the sink.
I was very very disappointed with this bottle, perhaps it was corked, but I won't be getting any more of these.

It sounds as if it was as bad as its unpronounceable name. Ick.
