Nice ripe dark fruits on the open with some trailing earthy notes finishing pretty long with a dash of pepper. Oh and the tannins.....truely supple reminds me of a Ripasso from Valpolicella. The most impressive Merlot Ive come across. Of course Ive not tried Petrus.
