| | From Argentina. Dark ruby color. Intense notes of blackberry, blueberry and cassis, with some chocolate and vanilla too. I really enjoyed the aromas, so I was a bit disappointed with the palate. Not bad, just lacking concentration imo. It showed some light tannins and medium acidity, but there was little showing in the mid-palate, and the finish was not as intense as I would hope. It was not bad, by any means. I just expected a little more from a great producer in a great vintage. All in all it's not a bad QPR, but I hope I just got a bad bottle. 87 pts. | | | |
