2002 Montes Cabernet Sauvignon Alpha - Santa Cruz, Colchagua, Chile (11/22/2004) Wonderful deep crimson color. Notes of cigar box and vanilla on the nose. Rich and full on the palette with a round finish. Decanted about 1.5 hours. Will show some improvement with age. A nice effort, and certainly stands up to California Cabs at 2-3 times the price.
