| 2001 Viña Ventisquero Cabernet Sauvignon Maipo Valley Yali
Opened and served immediately without decanting in Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glasses. Deep purple color throughout, clear from center to rim. Slightly muted nose of tobacco, mocha, plums, black cherries and other dark fruits. Flavors of black cherries on a very short and slightly bitter finish. Not that good of a wine but I like it more than some of the other low cost wines running around. I think WS rated this 77 points. It's not a great wine but it's not that bad either. Drink now. | | Joe ----- Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |
