This is my second South African Sauvignon Blanc and what a winner. This is definitely a case buy for the summer months. Great citrus and grassy nose. The flavors are rich and intense grape fruit, lemon, herbs, chalk and some grass with a zingy mouth watering finish. Better yet I think this was about $8. I would rate this 91+pts and will definitely buy more. The first S.A. SB I had was the 2003 Mulderbosh which I really enjoyed but based on rating and WS top 100 the price has come up and availability is limited. I saw this instead and gave it a shot.

Another Easy drinking SA Sauvignon Blanc. Definatly recommended for the Summer months. Cat's pee galore with nice tropical fruit aromas. The tropical edge carries through with a wave of fresh acidity on the palette. A little on the lightside, without as much fruit as the mulderbosh and not quite as much refinement as the Steenberg Reserve, but enjoyable none the less. A fine example of good QPR SA Sauvignon Blanc.
