| Glorious be thy muscat.
This Buller really is so very nice. Prune, peach, raisin, fig, caramel..... very interesting indeed. Everytime I sip I find something else buried within... very complex, but not so thick and rich to turn you off... the 18% alchohol is noticeable, but it's the acidity that balances this out to make it so vibrant. Very nice smooth finish, and a very long aftertaste of dark chewy caramel. Hard to rate for me as I don't have enough experience... but if it doesn't get much better than this, I will not be disappointed at all!!! Definitely 96+ | | | If you drink wine, you get smarter.... |

| | Oh yes. Agree 100%. I am Not a big supporter of Dessert Wines. But, this was a very enjoyable after-dinner drink. With chocolate, perfect pairing. Thank You, Mr. Revlis. | | | |

| | this was an outstanding dessert wine. not having a reference point, i would hesitate to rate it. if parker calls it a 99 i would not argue. the viscosity was that of syrup. | | | |

| Uh oh..... Screw up!!!
The Muscat I brought to Jocelyn's was the Buller Premium Fine Muscat Victoria.
NOT the Buller Rutherglen Rare Muscat that was RP 99.
Go figure... I gotta find my receipt on this! More to come......
Anyhow, the ones I bought today were indeed the RP 99's. I still think the Fine Muscat was 96+ though..... But only costs $15 I think!!! Zoiks!
Like I said.. more to come.... | | | If you drink wine, you get smarter....

| *grumble* *moan*
Seems I'm right. I was charged the full $66 though... he told me it was the RP99 bottling and I believed him. | | | If you drink wine, you get smarter....

So, did these people fix their mess up?

| Doc,
I think Rev has gotten me confused. You asked for the "Extra Fine" Muscat.
Do you mean "Premium Fine Muscat", the RMP97 at a list price of 97?
If so, I have two cases on order from a NYC retailer and two more on order from another retailer. Therefore, I think I can spare you some.
Or, if you'd like, email me (or join the chat room now?). I'll tell you where to order it from.
Steve

| Had this again. This is excellent but not as good as the Chambers version of 2 years ago. See Campbell's too | | | |

| | Dr.T, I didn't have the Chambers of 2 years ago, but I prefer the Buller to the current Chambers. | | | |

| I haven't had the recent Chambers Muscat. Hasn't hit the shores of VA. Parker was less fond of current release.
Bottom line:Still all good for the money.
