| Marlborough Fruit.
Tasted 30th June 2003, chilled.
Colour: Pale gold Nose: Vanilla, lemon sorbet, sweet pear, and apples. Palate: Apples dominate the palate, Good acids but slightly bitter notes suggesting the alcohol is overpowering the aromatics- reminds me of a toffeee apple on that first bite. Overall: An enjoyable wine that needs some age. 86 points.
