| 2001 Fritz Zinfandel “Late Harvest”. Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California. $28 (per half bottle). 200 cases of half bottles made. High-toned sweet plum, butterscotch, and peppery spice aromas. Excellent acidity plays well off the wine’s sweetness. Good concentration and length. Slurpable – this will get some people in trouble at the end of a meal if they let it. Drink now. 90 points. | | | |
