Tasted April 2, 2006 at WineDrinkerofTexas home. Opened and served immediately in a house sweet wine glass. Slightly golden color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of honey, apricot and almonds. Flavors of honey and apricot dominate with perhaps a touch of cinnamon or clove toss in. For a vintage that was “only average” this is one nice wine and a really good value at today’s pricing. I’d recommend holding for a couple of more years and revisiting again then. Value is bordering between recommended and highly recommended. (94 pts.)
