Marvelous wine. Powerfull right out of the bottle with the achohol showing through a little, definetly has the legs for the long term. The color was lighter than I thought it would be even for a 15 year old. Viscous and almost oily on the pallete with initial notes of buttercream and creme de casis, as it opened up there were definetly notes of poached pears and spice such as nutmeg. It built into a deep dried rasin and carmel core. Really fantastic wine.
