Nose of marmalade, dried apricot, lemongrass, and brown spice. Incredibly intense on the palate with a petrol-like flavor and viscosity. Sweet but not at all cloying. Slight heat on the finish -- initial guess: 18% alcohol. Bottle is labeled 17.5% which probably means this is closer to 18.5% alcohol. This would merit an even higher score if not for the slight heat on the 30+ second finish. 93.

I can't listen to that much Wagner. I start getting the urge to conquer Poland.

$28.00, purchased @ Martinelli.

I am drinking my 1st bottle tonight after the Martinelli tasting. A nice little after dinner drink. I agree with whiner above, & yes a bit of heat/bitterness on the finish which does take away from the wine. Still a very nice after dinner drink. Though, one can do better for the price.

Rating: 90 points, drink or hold.
