| 1999 Disznókó Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos - Hungary, Hegyalja, Tokaji (5/5/2005) Bordeaux and Tokaji Wine Dinner - Spec's (Rouge Restaurant; Houston, Texas): I don't have a lot of experience with Tokaji but I really liked this wine. It had notes of honey, dried apricots along with a nice viscous texture. Although it was 5 Puttonyos (high on the sweetness/intensity scale) it had enough acidity to finish very fresh. With foie gras it was quite good. (92 pts.)

| These guys are so far my favorite producer of Tokaji. I haven't tried this vintage yet, so thanks for sharing. I ought to pick some up it sounds like. | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| Had this for the first time yesterday. My first experience with a '99. I agree with you about the dried apricot. I also picked up a spice compenent that I really enjoyed. BTW I drank this after it had been open for 5 hours. The acidity made this a very good dessert wine. 91+ pts.
