| | 1999 Anselmann Huxelrebe Trockenbeerenauslese Edenheimer Rosengarten -- out of the bottle comes an absolutely beautiful honey brass colour, which turns out to be its best feature; shy nose of cotton candy and peach; lots of honey, peach, yellow raisin flavours; finish fades gently but a bit quickly, showing a tiny bit of heat right at the end (11% alc. not hidden well). About 87-88 pts. Won't rock anyone's world, even with lowered expectations given the varietal. Not a producer I'd heard of before, either. | | | |
