| Every year one desert wine wows me, head and shoulders above the rest.
These have been over last 3 years
-Chambers Rare Muscat NV
-Buller & Son Rare Calliope Muscat NV
-Suiduraut 2001
Well here's another...thanks to the sommelier
Tasted at Traberna Alabardero 3/6
Color: Mahogany palomino
Aroma: Intense golden raisin and molasses, chocolate caramel
Flavor: The cacophony of nutttiness [walnuts, pecans] and crushed raisins and figs cascade in layers on your tongue caressing each papilla with silky smooth purity. This wine needs to be slowly sipped and savored absorbed thru nose and pore alike.
This bottling is rare a Solera based mixture of top Sherries from vintages starting over 100 years old to the most recent allowable by law, minimum 30 years ago.
I will try to find some, but if anyone knows where some is or has this, please let me know
