Big, fat, rich and unctuous sum up this outstanding wine, which offers up complex aromas of honey, apricot, and minerals. Very sweet and lush on the palate, yet balanced and fine, the wine should develop well for years to come. 93 points, my #2 wine of the flight. | | | |

| Eric, these wines will age a long while. Although the '97 is from a fatter vintage, the '89 is still very much on the young side.
