| This Icewine opened with intense aromas of herbs, spices, and then apricots. On the palate I found even more ripe stone fruits, a bit of eucalyptus and mint, all bundled into a racy, elegant, well balanced medium bodied dessert wine. -winemonger
Vintner Manfred Weiss likes to use Grüner Veltliner grapes as they are less likely to be affected by botrytis, resulting in grapes are still mostly "clean" when the first cold night arrives at the end of the harvest. This lends itself of a wine with clear fruit and spice notes. Harvested at 19 degrees Fahrenheit and then fermented in steel tanks.
from Beverage Testing Institute: Brilliant golden yellow hue. Dried apricot, pear, heather and honey aromas. Medium-full, this is moderately sweet and is clean, though the fruit fades a bit in the finish.

| I was asked on one of my other tasting notes to include the price of the bottle, so I am now doing this for all of my TN's.
This bottle retails for: $19.00
