| This 2001 Beerenauslese from the Heiss winery in Illmitz, Austria (in Burgenland region) was aged 12 months in small barrels made from acacia wood.
Tasting notes from the vintner, Franz Heiss: "Acacia wood gives this wine a lot of youth as well as acacia blossom and honey aromas. This is a very good and fascinating wine. The combination of the acacia wood barrel and the Sauvignon Blanc grape makes it a very elegant and interesting wine. Very clean, very elegant."
From Wine Enthusiast magazine: Nicely done late-harvest Sauvignon Blanc, blending apricot and pineapple aromatics with flavors of honey and tangerines. It's medium in body, with a finish that's honeyed without being cloying. Editors Choice.

| I was asked on one of my other tasting notes to include the price of the bottle, so I am now doing this for all of my TN's.
This bottle retails for: $19.99
