| Posted over in North America TNs. Guess I should have posted here instead...
1999 Clos Mimi Etiquette Bleue LATE HARVEST Syrah.
WOW! A delicious pairing at Fleur de Lys (SF) with a bitter-sweet chocolate soufle. Thanks Mickey!
Tasted just before midnight at the end of a wonderful three+ hour meal so my TNs are not detailed but like I say above, "WOW!"
Deep, opaque violet color. Sweet aroma on the nose; all you might expect from the syrah grape pretty much overwhelms any boquet that might be there. Wonderful dark chocolate explodes and coats the mouth perfectly preparing it for the bitter-sweet chocolate to follow in the soufle. DELICIOUS!
Thanks Tim and Mimi Spear! | | | |
