| From a 2 night Annieversay party last month.
It had a good amount of fruit, candied apple, cotton candy in the nose rounded out by a spicy, peppery note. The palate was medium sweet for port and still quite primary on the fruit character with tons of sweet currants and cherry flavor. The wine has a medium finish with good concentration. I would say that it is just turning the corner and will add complexity in the next 3-5 years. It will certainly go well beyond that atleast 12- 15 more years, not the height of port but nice | | | |
