| | Almost fully saturated cork with some seepage. Dark burgundy/garnet colour; opaque. Aromas of wet earth, raspberry, chocolate, and blackcurrant. Full-bodied, tannic, mouthpuckering, slightly alcoholic wine. Very primary with grapiness, blackberry, and raspberry. Moderate-long finish, with blackberry, raspberry, alcohol. Needs 3-5 yeras. Gets an odd peach/nectarine note on the finish. 88 points (07/07/2005). | | | |
