| A bit of a bite actually. dark red color, smooth with a bit of a bite at the finish. We've been drinking Warres' Ruby and Tawny so it was a lesson for her, and a nice refresher for me. After a day, the bite is lessoned on the finish.

| | I quite like Dow's LBV. It's a bit drier than most, near the Taylor's side, but it lacks complexity. Nowadays I'd rather have Warre's or Quinta do Noval LBV, the more moderate but interesting ones. The hyper-sweet like Graham's are good for pudding wine. | | | |
