Last week I had the opportunity to taste the 1970 Croft side by side with the 1977 Croft. Amazingly, the 1970 was more youthfull and full of fruit. The 1977 had lost much of it's fruit and may be on the decline. I think for the money the 1970 is a great deal (usually less than $100) and underrated.
