  • 1955 Sandeman Porto [Porto, Douro, Portugal] 93 pts. (4/18/2004)
    color of old brick with caramel around the edge. Cherry nose with a touch of sherry and tobacco. Long finish, but to me the alcohol stood out a little. Very good. This is the oldest wine I have tasted.
