| Priced at about $5
Medium dark golden in color, right away the nose reveals this is no ordinary $5 bottle of wine. Toasty oak dominates the aroma, while melon and fig emerge from behind along with some subtle citrus notes. Rich a fat on the palate without being in the least cloying or heavy, a very pleasant wine and a simply stunning value for the price. Two buck chuck fans should take note and step it up a notch. 88 points, drink now. | | | |
