| Tasted as part of Aquila dinner/blind tasting on 12/8/02. Wine tasted from a short wide mouth wine glass.
Golden yellow color in the glass. Nose of apples and sweet cream. Medium bodied wine with honey, pear and a good dose of oak. Short, but pleasant finish. jb Rating 86

| This is a new Vineyard. It is being built as we speak. They make cabs & chards. I visited them in August. Their 1st "real" release will be in 2001. Their 1st release was the '98, but the guy told me to WAIT to judge until 2001.
Good Nose/Aroma, lots of vanilla & nut, honey, spicy & sweet. Also tasted pear. Good body & a good finish. I enjoyed this Wine, but think that it could use some time & should have been Chilled a little more. A little too "warm" for my taste (when it comes to Chards).

| I was not a big fan of this wine. Tough to gauge since it's still a pup and probably has some sorting out to do.
Too acidic, way too buttery, and the fruits were nowhere to be found.
85 points (and I think I was generous last night)

| This is my 3rd bottle of this. I rated some as high as 89, but this time, 84points. Too much oak & bitterness. No real fruit tasted & was not a very pleasant bottle to drink. May be, it was “off”, but did not taste like an “off” bottle. Just did not show much @ all.
Rating: 84points (@ most), drink now.

| | Looking back @ the TNs, I am all over the map with the 00 Neal. Last night I had it @ 87 & drink now. My range on this release is 84-89 with various bottles over the years. | | | |
