| Wine was tasted from Riedel Chablis Vinums.
Cloudy moderate gold color. Very floral on the nose with honey, jasmin and mint. Wonderful mouthfeel, meduim to full bodied bursting with donut peach, pear, carmel, and pineapple. Minerality on the very long finish. Great balance, powerful and elegant. jb Rating 93.
Wish I had more of this one. Drink now-2006.

| Go ahead and pop one. It was the best Martinelli Chard I have ever had. Quite impressive. Revlis thought so as well.

| | This was a great bottle. It needed some airtime and I thought it was at it's best after it warmed up a bit too. I agree with jb's notes and score. It held it's own against the Pizza too. | | If you drink wine, you get smarter.... | |

| | I was doing some cellar management (read this as drinking some wine) and noticed some sediment in the botom of my bottles of Woolsey. Anyone else seen this? | | | |

| | Thanks Jones. I just thought it was throwing a lot of sediment considering how young it is. | | | |

| | I would add a strong Hazelnut aroma, like Frangelico to the nose. This is a wonderful wine. 92-93 points according to my notes. Much better then a 2000 Kistler Vine Hill that it was compared to. | | | |

| Not going to start a new thread on the '99. Not worth it. I had 1 bottle in the cellar that I found & it was not in any of my records. One of those bottles that sometimes gets lost in the shuffle.
Anyway... drink asap. Falling like a rock in water.

...not much to + here. The posters above are on the money.
No specific TNs on this, but a nice bottle of chard, very enjoyable, a joy to drink, refreshing. And, well worth the investment.
Drink now, 92points. | | | |

| | It had a muted nose of pears with a hint of citrus. On the palate, the wine was buttery with some butterscotch and a mild citrus finish. 91 | | | |

| Drank a bottle last week.
Lots of brown sediment has glommed onto the side of the bottle, leaving the wine quite clarified at this time. Board-O's note is spot-on. I would add that there is a strong sense of wet stone/minerality. The wine grows on you as it opens up. 91 points.
