• 2004 Williams Selyem Chardonnay Hawk Hill - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (9/15/2007)
  Lots of oak. this had a very powerful citrus quality that was nice but buried under a lot of toasty oak. the fruit was great and there was abundant acidity. my first WS chard. now i know not to drink them young.
  
  I would imagine that will a fair amount of time this might start to balance out as the body is there. just too much oak for me to enjoy this now. (87 pts.)
