Absolutely fantastic chardonnay. About as far from the over-oaked flabby chards as you can get, almost as much citrus as a great sauv blanc.

Pineapple, lemon, semi-firm mango, butterscotch, almost a hint of effervescence, and just enough oak - but holding plenty of balanced acidity.

Nice note Tim. This is a key attribute that I look for in chards. Aubert chards can bring it.

I was not terribly impressed with this wine and it did not fare well against an 04 Peter Michael Belle Cote drunk just before.  It needs a few years though so I'm reasonably confident it will improve.
