2001 Schramsberg Vineyard Blanc de Blancs - USA, California (3/18/2007) Pleasant sparkler but little complexity. There was a hint of residual sugar that detracted from this wine but made it match well with dessert. Nice but I wouldn't buy it at their current price point ~$30. (87 pts.) of all their sparklers, i like their blanc de blancs best. i kind of think of them as the blondes of sparkling wines.

I actually prefer their blanc de noirs. Also, I think they did a better job in '02 and '03 than in '01. Just and fyi...
