| 2002 Konrad & Co. Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc -- I'd call this a pretty average NZ Sauv.Blanc. Quite full-bodied (13.5% alcohol handled well) with melon and some citrus bouquet and flavors, but a bit flabby. Doesn't have the acidic brightness of the better ones. Medium-length finish. App. 85-6 pts.
Not a bad wine, but priced about the same as Forrest, St. Clair, Selak's, Shingle Peak, etc. and not as good as those. Therefore, questionable value IMO.
