tasted January 17th /01/2003 A consistant producer of the Martinborough region in all wines not just Sav Blanc. It wasn't a surprise to see this wine score as well as it did. Powerful passionfruit and melon nose, with wonderful rich flavours creating a zesty vibrant expirience on the palate. The texture again was enlightening with an almost soft zingy character. Good stuff. 93 points.

Thanks for the notes Jeremy - I had a 2001 of this and enjoyed it much - will look for it when it comes Stateside!

These guys rarely do anything badly. I would say they are one of the most consistant producers of wine in Martinborough.

Had a bottle of this at Harbourside restaurant in Auckland. It was on the wine list for NZ$45 (US $30). A very bright and fruity style. None of the grassiness or herbaceous flavors that often are exhibited in NZ SBs. Big surge of flavor in the middle, with a steeply descending finish. A nice rollercoaster "sabbie" (or is it is "sauvie"? Can't remember the Kiwi abbreviation for SB, but it's something similar). 90P. Cheers, Otis

Jeremy......I vaguely recall that you reported that the 2003 NZ crop was a mess and was wiped out by either flood or frost. Have things changed or am I mistaken? Dick
