Nobilo much like Selaks is one of the Founders of the NZ wine industry. The winery is based in Auckland but they also have facilities in Marlborough. They own vineyards in Auckland, Marlborough, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay.

This wine in my opinionm is pretty average and have posted to WARN YOU against it because I know the ICon series sav is pretty good and that many have tried it Stateside.

Colour: Pale Gold
Nose: Hints of botrytis are evident, comnbined with the age the nose is dominated by kerosene phenolics with only the slightest hints of pineapple and lime evident. Lychee and peach also evident after a little air.
Palate: Very dry which when combined with the botrytis characters was quite detrimental to the overall effect. The wine had a good texture however while the acids seems flabby.
Overall: A real disappointment. 76 on the Jeremy Scale. Don't Buy this.
