From New Zealand. Purchased for $36, in Sydney. Opened during dinner with kybo yesterday.

Rather dark color for a pinot. Very tight, with tart black cherry flavors. Some earthy notes. Glassy texture. Disappointing. I was expecting more. No real signs that it will improve. 82P.

Cheers,

Otis

That is interesting. Was it decanted?

Hi Jeremy,

No, it was not decanted, but the bottle was open for at least 3 hours before we tried it. We then drank it over the course of 2 hours and it never opened up.

Cheers,

Otis

Interesting- will avoid, I haven't tried the 2000 and now I won't intend to. Thanks for the notes.
