A producer who has started to make a break on the scene down here.

Cheaper drop ($22 NZD or about $12 USD.).

Colour: Straw with caramel tinge (perhaps slightly oxidised?)
Nose: mineral notes dominate initially with kerosene and steely wet wool most evident. Green red currants then come through backed by a slight pineapple edge.
Palate: drying acids, good zingy steely length. A slight forward residual sweetness- although the finish is impressively dry and length is long.
Overall: A good dry riesling, but won't improve with age. 83 points.
