| | I've had a couple of these recently and it is very good. Pale yellow color, very intense aromas of Lemon Peel, Grapefruit, Kiwi, green herbs, wet stones. The nose on this wine is very nice. In the mouth this isn't quite as tart as I would have suspected from the nose but very nice with a pretty lengthy finish. The flavors echo the nose with a little more citrus. This is really nice, for $15 it is a step up in price from many other NZ SB's but I would give it 90-92 pts and like it a little better than the Kim Crawford. As it begins to thaw this would make a beautiful porch wine this spring/summer although much lower production than others. | | | |
