Allowed to breathe approx. 30 minutes before drinking. Light copper-gold colour. Slow, fine bead. Aromas of cream, white flowers, almonds, bread dough. Good mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with cream, almonds, apple, oatmeal biscuit, and a hint of citrus rind. Nice finish, ~30-40s with almond notes. Not as good as the '98, but very tasty. 90 points (09/25/2004).

Hey, you posted this on my birthday! No wonder I missed it. Still not seen the 1999 anywhere here.

Happy belated birthday!

I had another bottle of this a few weeks ago, and it was just as tasty.

I'm sure the 1999 will show up in your shops soon.

I'm surprised because we normally get this earlier. I suspect that Majestic bought it all because I haven't been there for a long time - typical
