| I had this wine last night w/ Chicken in a Riesling sauce w/ mushrooms. Wine was tasted from reugular white wine glasses, as my Riedels are in storage.
Wine is a clear, medium intensity gold color. Aromatics of white fruits and flint. On the palate, medium bodied with lime, minerals and a little dired herbs. Well balacanced and a finish just short of medium. Very good. jb Rating 86. QPR B-
This wine was $11.99 purchased from a Trenton wine shop, while in search of a Riesling to match with the dish. It went very well and I would recommend this as it is very food friendly.

| | slightly off topic.... Riesling sauce. Was it roasted chicken and you just added riesling to the pan juices and reduced with some shrooms or what>? | |

| It was the cover dish from the Jan. Food and Wine. Basically, you cook the chicken pieces in some butter, add shallot, add cognac, ignite, add riesling and simmer for 25 min. Cook the mushrooms separately in some butter. When chicken is done, remove from pan add cream and flour/butter paste and whisk. Return chicken and mushrooms to the pan. Done. Don't ask me the measurements. I don't remember.
