Pale yellow colour. Aromas of grass mulch, melon, and citrus. Medium-full bodied with citrus fruits. Can taste the age on this wine as it's not crisp like a typical Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. Short-moderate finish, ~20s. 85-86 points (08/05/2004).

Fut, this is why I never let my (NZ) SBs get older than 2 years.

I've just checked and can't find any remaining 2001s. I liked it but not enough to pick up the following vintage and couldn't imagine it being much cop now. Just checked on WS where I gave it 85 on a wet Tuesday.
