Bought this on a lark at Berkeley Bowl. My first (non-MD2020) screw cap wine! Made in Bannockburn Otago. 'The Gullies' appears to the the lessor bottling to their estate PN.

Has a great tangy, fruity (raspberry/blackberry), savory (meaty) nose that was really appealling. Best young PN I've smelled in a while. The flavors mostly followed the nose, but it sorta tasted like it has some residual sugar to it. Perhaps it was a lot of young fruit acting like sugar sweetness (but my bet it a bit of RS). Whichever it was, the sweetness overpowered much of the appeal I got from the nose. If the sweetness is just young fruit then this should age into something really appealing and interesting. If it's RS then it's a pass (for me...not a fan of sweetness in supposed-to-be-dry wines).
