I am in the process of trying to pick a high quality supplier of dried cherries from the state of Michigan. After doing some research it looks like Michigan is the best centrally located state that produces high quality dried cherries. Does anyone here know anyone in the business of selling dried cherries at the wholesale level?

We bought some at Peninsula Winery in Michigan a little over three years ago. They were outstanding. If nothing elkse turns up, you might email them and ask them where they buy theirs.

Michigan does make some kick butt cherries. We used a lot this year in test runs of one of the cookies Mrs. TJ made for the MD State Fair (didn't win anything though, which is a puzzlement)....

A friend of the family just gave me a HUGE package of dried cherries from Michigan. I'm looking forward to baking with them this T'giving and Christmas.
